The mission of Anson County Parks and Recreation Department is to implement exciting and productive programs, which will enhance the overall quality of life for our citizens.

Sports Season

Youth Soccer, Micro Soccer, Tee Ball, Coach Pitch deadline is Friday, August 30. The cost is $25.00

Girls Softball
4 to 6, 7 to 8, 9 to 10, 11 to 12, and 13 to 15 years old
Major Baseball
11 to 12 years old
Minor Baseball
9 to 10 years old
Micro Soccer
3 to 4 years old
Youth Soccer
Grades kindergarten through 2nd, 3rd through 4th, 5th through 6th, 7th to 9th, and 10th through 12
Tee Ball
4 to 6 and 7 to 8 years old

Anson County Boat Landing

The Carolina Thread Trail boat landing at plank road suffered damage during Hurricane Florence. We are on our summer schedule. Gates open at 8:30 a.m. and close at 8 p.m. For more information call Jeff Waisner at 704-695-2550, Wendell Small at 704-695-2782, or Allen Jackson at 704-694-5751.
